Fedegari Autoclavi SpA is a large company, part of an international industrial group that has the strategic goal of supplying machines, systems, components and services in the field of sterilization, chemical bio-decontamination and control of environmental contamination for the pharmaceutical, biotech and food industry. Fedegari was created by brothers Giampiero and Fortunato Fedegari in the early 1950s in Pavia as a small handicraft company dedicated to the manufacture of various structural items. Later it developed in the production of sterilizers, gradually specializing in the design of these machines for application in the pharmaceutical field. In the early 1990s, it diversified its production also in the field of processes with supercritical fluids (mainly CO2), designing and manufacturing systems and machines conceived for extraction and washing processes.
A unique characteristic of Fedegari is the extreme verticalization of the company, which has always refused the idea of assembling sophisticated sterilizers and other machines with standard components (COTS) designed for multiple applications, building everything in-house. This has allowed, through the years, to control technology through in-depth knowledge of the machines and processes and therefore to constantly innovate our products.
Today Fedegari has expanded the range of products to include machines for bio-decontamination processes (one of the technologies introduced after the acquisition of Bio Com in 2010), contamination control, isolators for sterility test, rotary sterilizers and combining sterilizers for washing and sterilization for various applications.
Another interesting development is the Thema4 process control installed on all sterilizers, bio-decontamination units and other Fedegari machines (isolators, washer-sterilizer, etc). Thema4 is the only process controller developed from the outset to meet the strictest requirements of the pharmaceutical industry and capable of integrating natively with SCADA and MES systems in use.
Fedegari sterilizers, bio-decontamination units and other machines (isolators, washer-sterilizer, etc) are distributed worldwide by a network of local integrators capable of ensuring the operation and after-sales support to users throughout the life cycle of the machine.
