We continue to provide up-to-date information about activities of the BIOTESTLAB company during wartime.

Most importantly, the work of production and warehouse facilities in Kyiv has not changed since the beginning of the war. There was no damage as a result of the fighting.

The production of BIOTESTLAB in the first month of the war worked with partial restrictions. The company's management has taken steps to ensure that the work is done in a way that meets the needs of customers and is safe for employees, taking into account logistical restrictions in Kyiv and Ukraine.

At the same time, from the first days, we started relocating the warehouse, debugging the logistics and sales system, planned the procedure and budgets in accordance with the new realities. Thanks to the daily communication of the entire team, we quickly set up deliveries in Ukraine, and found new solutions for sending our products for export and importing the components necessary for production.

Despite the closure of airports and the blocking of the Ukrainian ports of the Black and Azov Seas by the Russian fleet, BIOTESTLAB continues to fulfill export contracts. Thanks to new logistics chains, deliveries of our products by road, by plane from the airports of the EU countries (Warsaw, Budapest), and by sea (ports of Constanta and Varna) have already been made and continue to be delivered to Egypt, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Nepal, Bahrain, and others countries.

A critical stock of vaccines and other products has been moved to a new location in the Ternopil region. As of May 18, 2022, the distance from the new warehouse to the nearest war zone is more than 800 kilometers.

The registration department continues to work. The registration of the Suimun vaccine against classical swine fever has been completed in Azerbaijan, and the registration of five vaccines for poultry of the Polimun line have been completed in Uzbekistan. Work continues on drug development, clinical trials and registration. We received registration certificates in Ukraine for the vaccine Polimun IB VAR 2 and for the complex antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent Ketafur.

Planning further steps, BIOTESTLAB continues to build a new production complex near Kyiv, and we are also negotiating with specialized companies in the EU on organizing joint and contract manufacturing in the EU to diversify risks.

Given the circumstances, many industries have already felt the impact of the war on the growth of production costs due to rising prices for components and raw materials, energy, fuel, and logistics services, and there is no exception for us. But at the same time, we understand that this is a global trend, and all market participants are in the same conditions.

BIOTESTLAB company has more than 30 years of experience in organizing work, in particular, in the field of anti-crisis management. We have successfully passed several periods of rapid currency devaluation, the years of two revolutions, and the war in the east of Ukraine.
