From its foundation to the joining of Freund group, Cos.Mec history is an example of international growth and success resulting from products 100% made in Italy

Cos.Mec was set up by a few ambitious entrepreneurs in Milan thirty years ago to manufacture powder handling equipment for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Over the years our company has gone a long way, becoming a leader in the solid dosage equipment field.

Now Cos.Mec has over fifty employees including the staff of Nuova Modulam, a company taken over in 2018 to expand our steel working activities. All of Cos.Mec products, including granulation equipment such as our High Shear Mixers and Fluid Bed Dryers which were added to our portfolio in 2004, are manufactured in our three factories in Paderno Dugnano. During the last few years our facilities have been improved and partially renovated to keep pace with our growing business. Over the past decade we have manufactured various high containment plants and solutions to meet the many requests from our clients. Moreover, our traditional customer base formed by chemical and pharmaceutical companies has developed to include new firms from the food and nutraceutical areas.

By joining Freund group in November 2020, Cos.Mec further confirmed its export orientation, international ambition and determination to reach an increasingly large number of world markets.

On its thirtieth anniversary, Cos.Mec would like to thank all those who helped make it a world-renowned brand: from its employees to its agents and partners in Italy and abroad. We would like to express our special thanks to our customers, whether big or small, who are at the core of our history.
