Currently, not every resident of Ukraine can buy medicine for themselves, that is especially acute problem for population vulnerable categories: the elderly, people with disabilities, pregnant women and single mothers.

That is why the Nova Ukraine Charity Fund together with the medical coordinator in Kharkiv region, Rodion Bronnikov, started cooperation with the leading pharmaceutical company Darnitsa.

Since June 2022, the Nova Ukraine Fund has purchased from Darnitsa enterprise more than 2,000 kg of medicines for the Kharkiv region needs, and in July the companies signed an additional contract for free charitable assistance.

The cooperation chain starts with MediaHub, where all applications from the city of Kharkiv are accumulated. They are checked and refined with the American medical team, and then put into customer order. The Darnitsa team needs as little time as possible to collect the required items: on average, orders are sent by carrier within two working days on average.

Next, at the Kharkiv warehouse, all packs content is carefully reconciled with paid invoices and bills of goods lading. Further the batch is distributed among volunteer organizations as the Fund’s trusted partners which formed those orders from the people.

And more than 18,000 packages take their path to the recipients, to help stabilize blood pressure, to relieve pain, and save lives.

In less than two months of cooperation, about 4,500 people who cannot afford purchases in pharmacies for various reasons received the help: some of them have a lack of funds, and some, after the Russian attack, cannot get to any working pharmacies nearby.
