Produced by IMA Safe, a division of IMA Pharma, the C40 Series is the best price-performance ratio in its range, combining reliability, technology and sustainability.
IMA Pharma is world leader in the design and manufacture of automatic machines for the processing and packaging of pharmaceutical products thanks to a high technological profile and the ability to offer tailor-made solutions to satisfy the most sophisticated requests of the market, thanks to highly specialised divisions: IMA Active (Solid Dose Solutions), IMA Life (Aseptic Processing & Freeze Drying Solutions), IMA Safe (Packaging Solutions) and IMA BFB (End of Line Solutions).
Focus on the line… The C40 Series, designed and manufactured by IMA Safe, has been specifically conceived for those customers who demand high production efficiency for small/medium batches that require frequent changeovers, and it is said that it is the best price-performance ratio in its range.
The output of the blister machine is up to 525 blisters per minute in 3-rows configurations or 350 blisters per minute in 2-rows configuration, while the cartoner reaches 350 cartons per minute. The versatility of the C40 stand alone makes it easily connected to other downstream machines such as cartoner, wallet packer, flow packer or end-of-line to satisfy any customer production needs.
Combined with the latest quality controls, the modern design assures a complete visibility of the whole packaging processes as well as full accessibility for the operator. Downtimes are reduced to a minimum thanks to easy cleaning operations and fast and simple changeovers.
The design of the C40 Series, like for all the blister machines from IMA Safe, allows the perfect integration with the containment technology. Moreover, the reliability of the feeding systems reduces to a minimum the intervention of the operator within the cabin of containment.
… and on new generation materials. When it comes to sustainable packaging, the attention of the company to environment also involves the promotion of eco-friendly plastic substitutes (IMA NOP - No-Plastic Program) for the packages manufactured on IMA machines, thus generating energy saving and economic benefits. The C40 blister machine is compatible with the use of recyclable and compostable materials as well as its energy consumption is reduced to a minimum. This initiative is part of IMA ZERO, the Corporate’s project about sustainable development.
