Hebold INLINE-Homogenizer

Highest Shearing Forces

The versatile In-Line-Homogenizers from Hebold offer availability for many different mixing applications. Due to the ability to transport the product evenly and simultaneously creating a uniform and fine output the homogenizer is beneficial for purposes e.g. to make fine dispersions, suspensions, Emulsification or De-agglomeration.

A special shaped rotor turns in high tip speeds between the stator pressing the product through the gaps between the tooth system of the surrounding stator.

During this passage highest shear forces are being delivered to the product. The impact of these shearing effect increases by using a very narrow gap between rotor and stator. In short times very fine and homogenous product is achieved.

The Hebold Homogenizers are operated stationary by fixed connections to a vessel or as well in mobile executions. Then the unit can work at several tanks in different locations and connected by flexible hoses.

For new applications: We can test in our new facility the machine with your product to evaluate the optimal processing and handling of the formulation.

Alternatively we offer rental units for testing- purposes in the factory of the customer.

Softly due to Tandem Mode

In cases where the input of energy might be too strong, normally the tip speed of the rotor is being reduced. Is this not acceptable because the shearing forces then are even too strong Hebold offers the patented Tandem solution.

With this feature the shearing effect is completely switched off and the Hebold homogenizer works now as a mere pump.

Powder Jet: Suction without vacuum pump

For direct dispersing powders without vacuum a special device (Powder Jet) is directly mounted at the housing of the Hebold homogenizer.

The fluid passing a cramped cross section creates locally a negative pressure in this area. This pressure is sufficient to suck in powders by means of a suction lance out of a packed unit.

Additional advantage in TANDEM-operation: Working in the pumping mode creates higher flow rates and therefore leading to even stronger and enhanced suction operations.
