Solidlab 2 - Designed for easy scale-up

The Solidlab 2 drum coater module handles batch sizes from 0.8 to 12.8 kilograms (density 0.8 kg/l) in laboratory scale. The drum coater can be equipped with different drum sizes to adjust the capacity to customer’s requirements. The drums can be easily exchanged, supported by a mobile lifting aid.

The drum coater or fluid bed module use one common air handling and control system. The HMI of both machines has the same structure. This significantly reduces the need for operative personnel and training.

All important parameters and results are recorded by software, and changes are documented.

As both modules are designed like full-scale production machines, an easy scale-up of all production parameters is enabled.
