Mixing of components of dry inhalational powder (DPI). The Mini Cyclomix lab mixer is a next step of Cyclomix product line and is a high shear batch mixer. It's especially suitable for pharmaceutical applications such as blending DPI formulations allowing to solve difficult challenge of optimal blending. It also defines a balance of cohesive / adhesive forces between particles of APS and lactose.
The feature of new mixer are exchangeable product bowls of 0.1, 1 or 2 litres, connected with power unit by a bayonet joint without extra tools.
Exchangeable bowls make the blending process more flexible. Besides, charging and discharging can be performed in a separate room (laboratory, weight) or dispensary under controlled conditions.
The heart of the system is a drive system with motor and control system. The drive system is a compact table top system. The rotor is driven by a direct drive servo motor. A manually operated lifting device is integrated to ease docking of the product bowls.
