Purpose of the reactor : preparation of ointments, gels, emulsions and suspensions.
The reactor design meets the requirements of GMP EU.
- 2-stage rotary homogenizer removed from the body.
1st stage is an axial-flow auger pump that pre-mixes and injects product components into the 2nd stage chamber, as well as circulates and discharges the product;
The 2nd stage, consisting of a rotor and stator, homogenizes the mixture.
- dispersion of the mixture "liquid-liquid" after homogenization - from 5 to 50.0 microns, depending on the type of product and the time of homogenization.
The product is discharged through the discharge pipe of the Dn50 circulation loop;
Additional options :
- mechanism for tilting (turning) the body;
- external product circulation loop with 2 product inlets into the reactor vessel;
- an automatic system for filling the body with water as part of a strain gauge system and an automatic valve in the body cover, which cuts off the water supply after the programmed amount of water has been supplied;
- strain gauge system consisting of 4 strain gauges and a system controller with a display in the control panel;
- a system for introducing product components into the homogenization zone (1st chamber of the homogenizer) consisting of a funnel, a pipeline and an adjustable valve;
- an autonomous vacuum system consisting of a vacuum pump and a vacuum trap and automatic maintenance of a given vacuum depth;
The panel can be push-button or with an operator panel and an active mnemonic circuit with control of all reactor systems.
